The Research and Development Program backs up Extension on the ground level. This program area supports extension tested methods, either through studies conducted on our 21-hectare research farm or with farmers in participatory research studies. There are two programs under research and development:
Integrated Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development (ISARD)
Research focused on biodynamic and organic methods of agricultural production within an experimental and research laboratory farm and research studies in collaboration with farmer-partners right on field. The program area covers both livestock and crops in both irrigated and non-irrigated conditions. Product development of off-farm production activities are also subject to research studies. |
