The Don Bosco Foundation for Sustainable Development, Inc. (DBFSDI) could not have evolved and achieve what it has achieved without the support coming from friends who believe in us and share our vision.
For more than 13 years since 1993 of April, Dreikonigsaktion der Katholischen Jungschar Osterreichs (www.dka.at), a youth organization of Catholics in Austria has been with us in our journey and evolution, through thick and thin. Until the present, the commitment to the partnership continues. They are instrumental as our NGO counterpart in Europe in finding support from the EC for six (6) years and currently, support from the Austrian Development Aid to finance our projects. The children and youth of Austria who do their Sternsingen during Christmas are behind us in trying to make a difference in the world. We have the children and the people of Austria and DKA to thank for, as well as great thanks to HORIZONT 3000.
For the past, we have HEKS of Switzerland to thank for giving us the seed fund to start with in 1990, MISEREOR of Germany for support in 1992-94 and Conferenza Episcopale Italiana in 1993-95. Finally, we have the Diocese of Kidapawan to thank for the evangelization that moved us to do concrete actions to incarnate the values of the Gospel they taught us, and for challenging us to do our best and be the best of what we can be as dictated by our faith.
